If you want to make change, you’ve got to approach things differently. Founded by Dr Jodi Li and John Weir, Stellify combines scientific methodology, research-driven thinking and practical financial expertise to connect Australians with funding solutions that power possibilities.
Jodi spent much of her career in universities helping researchers identify commercial opportunities in their research and negotiate contracts with collaborators and funders. John, a mortgage broker and aspiring astrophysicist, approached Jodi for advice on a potential commercial opportunity in his Masters project. Their collaboration grew into a partnership and they took part in CSIRO’s ON Prime program and launched a start-up, learning firsthand how values and alignment shape success.
With a lifetime of helping people – through volunteering, charity work, mentoring and career guidance – Jodi has always sought ways to make a direct, positive impact. Stellify became a natural extension of that mission: using finance as a tool to empower individuals and businesses to achieve their goals rather than feeling constrained by it.
